Small, inexpensive gifts with a personal touch are always appreciated. Find out what your recipient’s interests are. Attach a card with a personal message to your gift. Be careful not to give gifts that are too personal such as lingerie and perfume (Added: unless your business partner is also your lover).
Don’t expect that your Filipino or Filipina business partner will open the gift in front of you. Likewise, you should not open the gift in front of the giver, but wait until they leave.
